Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner
We seek a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional patient care and support to our Surgeons during pre & post-operative office visits and surgical assisting as necessary. During surgical assisting, he/she will apply medical techniques and principles under the direction of our best-in-class surgeons. As a member of our team, you will play an integral role in promoting the success of our Practice and the overall health and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
. Assisting the Surgeon(s) or Physician(s) during office consults for new patients, follow-ups, and post-operative visits, taking vitals, administering medications, performing physical exams, administrating injections, and performing in-office procedures as applicable.
. Assisting the Surgeon(s) or Physician(s) during surgical cases taking place at different medical facilities, such as ASCs and Hospitals.
. Interviewing, examining, and diagnosing patients’ injuries and illnesses, in person and or via telemedicine.
. Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
. Stitching wounds, setting bones, assisting in surgeries, and administrating injections.
. Reviewing and maintaining patients’ medical histories and records and recording patients’ progress.
. Providing assistance with preparing documentation for billing & collection.
. Educating and counseling patients and their families.
. Researching the latest treatments, innovations, advances, and trends in the medical industry.
. Conducting or participating in outreach programs.
. Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for the patients.
. Comply with all applicable healthcare regulations, safety & privacy standards.
. Collaborate effectively with team members of the medical care administrative and other departments
Education
. Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Degree
Required Skills:
. Clinical experience in pre & post-operative orthopedic surgery
. Clinical experience in surgical assisting
. Strong analytical and technical skills.
. Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
. Excellent team working, communication, and interpersonal skills.
. The ability to treat patients with compassion and empathy.
. Fluency in Spanish is a plus
Experience:
. Physician assisting or nursing: 3 years (Preferred)
. Orthopedic or pain management specialties: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
. A state license to practice medicine – New Jersey and New York – or eligibility to apply
Work Location:
Multiple locations may be covered based on the physician(s) schedule and rotation.

. Other locations as necessary based on expansion and rounding.
Travel Expenses:
. Travel expenses sustained by covering additional locations compared to 1 primary will be reimbursed per mile plus tolls or according to applicable laws.

. Flexible time may be required and/or hours to accommodate patients’ visits and treatments.
Compensation:
. Option 1 available: Salary Up to $120,000.00/year
. Option 2 available: Based on the revenue generated
. The pay rate and compensation structure will be finalized in the offer letter for the chosen candidates. The pay rate advertised may be used as a reference.
. Supplemental Pay: Bonus production pay based on KPIs may be allocated based on Company’s profitability.
